The Company

The business started life over 25 years ago as Airport Freight Services and eventually became Ginair Cargo in 1995.

In the early years Ginair Cargo handled all types of freight but, having won the business of the major U.S. removals company Interconex through its U.K. subsidiary, then decided to become a specialist specialist in this area. This decision was a positive reaction to the quality and volume of work coming through this channel.

Ginair Cargo is now a substantial player in the forwarding of household goods and personal effects and offers specialist services to its trade colleagues in the international removals industry.

    Gino Haynes

    Gino is the founder and co-owner of Ginair Cargo and has over 40 years’ experience of the freight forwarding business.

    Gino joined LEP Transport (now integrated into Agility Logistics) straight from school and following a spell in Airways & General Transport (which was later merged into Danzas then DHL) progressed to General Manager of Randy International.

    Experience gained from these corporations provided the perfect springboard from which to launch his own company Airport Freight Services in 1981. Gino has never looked back since that moment and when he took on Interconex he decided to launch Ginair Cargo in 1995, since then we have become one of the most well-known freight forwarders with our industry.

    Emma Barak

    Emma is Gino’s Daughter, who joined the company in 2012. She has a background of Sales, Recruitment and Human Resources having studied CIPD (chartered institute of personal development). She has run her own business which was based in Israel for seven years, speaking fluent Hebrew and good Italian she has proved herself as a good business partner and was the obvious option for Gino when she moved back to the UK in 2012.

    Emma is a co-owner of Ginair Cargo alongside Gino and intends on using her people skills and customer service expertise to development the business. Her vision is to be the best freight forwarder in the industry and bring Ginair Cargo to a level where we stand out for our service levels as well as the rates we offer.
